Some years ago, someone told me for the first time about WWOOF. During the following years I had the chance to meet a range of people who explained to me their awesome wwoofing experiences around the world and it sounded very appealing to me.

European Youth Forum (YFJ from Youth Forum Jeunesse) is a platform of 99 European youth NGOs whose aim is to provide those organizations an opportunity to fight for youth rights using this unique platform, recognized by all the foremost political institutions all over the world.

EDEN Center create and provide a hiking guide for Divjakë-Karavasta National Park

In October 2011, youth, educators, and environmentalists gathered in London, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam and Oslo in a series of environmental forums organized by Tread Lightly.

During this summer the association Konopa welcomed youth interested in natural building to try out how they can use hemp as a building material. Three workshops took place in south Bohemia. Altogether, these 30 young people, mainly from Czech Republic, learnt how to prepare hemp-lime and hemp-clay mixture and apply it to walls, ceilings or floors.

Three non-governmental organizations launched the Green - Go short film contest and festival in September. The collaboration aims to call for the attention of European active and creative young people to express their own ideas on the most pressing environmental problems.

Dear YEE Friends and Allies!

As long as my impressions and feelings about the Advisory Council on Youth meeting are yet fresh, let me take advantage of this opportunity to share some of them with you so that you could have an insight in what was happening in the heart of the European youth life of the Council of Europe - in the Youth Center of Budapest, on 17-19 October, 2011.

For many years already, YEE has been doing its best to develop and maintain a successful and fruitful cooperation with the Youth in Action Program of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission.

There are many problems related to environment and it is of crucial importance to raise awareness of them. That is why for many of these issues there has been created a special date to bring international attention, interest and concern on it. The aim is to increase the cooperation in an international level through events that can bring cohesion and solidarity among people.

Ja visapkārt is one and a half year old organization, which brings together 20 youth (18 - 30 years old), who spend a part of their free time doing things which are important for them and people around.
