YEE’s Pool of Trainers
Empowering youth-led environmental action through expert facilitation and non-formal education.
What is the YEE Pool of Trainers?
The YEE Pool of Trainers (PoT) is a select group of 20 skilled facilitators and educators. Each member brings professional experience in non-formal education (NFE) and deep expertise in environmental and social justice issues.
Our trainers are early-career professionals and youth workers who are passionate about bringing creative, innovative approaches to international youth projects.
What topics do we cover?
The Pool of Trainers provides expertise in several environmental and related topics, in alignment with YEE’s priorities and capacity-building needs. These include:
- Environmental law & justice
- Climate & environmental advocacy
- Project management
- Communication & campaigning
- Community engagement
- Social justice, rights & inclusion
- Intersectional perspectives & analysis
Who are the trainers?
YEE Trainers are early-career professionals and youth workers holding extensive knowledge of NFE approaches and relevant experience as a trainer in youth training and other non-formal educational activities, especially in intercultural settings. They are highly motivated individuals who share YEE’s values and are interested in bringing creative and innovative approaches to youth-led environmental projects.
How does it work?
The PoT is an exclusive resource for our Member Organisations and partner organisations, allowing them to tap into a vetted group of youth experts.
Requesting a trainer
Need an expert for your next capacity-building event? We recommend submitting your request at least 2.5 months in advance to ensure the best match.

Note: For assignments directly with YEE, trainers receive a fixed daily rate of €200. For external assignments with partners, we recommend a minimum rate of €200, though final fees are negotiated with the contracting organisation.
