YEE is seeking 2 experts on Eco-Anxiety
YEE is looking for experts between who can host training sessions during a training of trainers on how to deal with eco-anxiety.
About the Training of Trainers
Through non-formal education methods, we aim to equip the participants of the training with knowledge on eco-anxiety and mental health impacts of climate change, enabling them to take meaningful action on these issues in their own communities.
We want to create a platform for discussions, knowledge-sharing, and active participation, empowering participants to collectively learn about this important topic.

Your responsibilities
- ⚬ Plan the training sessions together with the Project Coordinator.
- ⚬ Attend two preparatory online meetings with the other trainer and YEE staff to plan the sessions.
- ⚬ Carry out 5 days of interactive training sessions using non-formal education methods.
- ⚬ Support the participants’ understanding and development.
- ⚬ Assist in training activities and facilitation.
Candidates we are looking for
- ⚬ Have experience in facilitation and training of youth
- ⚬ Have experience with non-formal education techniques
- ⚬ Have expertise on the intersection between mental health and climate change, through studies or work experience
- ⚬ At least 1-2 years of professional experience working with mental health and young people
- ⚬ Have availability for the specific dates of the training
- ⚬ Working proficiency in English
- ⚬ Be based in Europe
- ⚬ Eligible applicants must be younger than 35 years of age
- ⚬ Be aligned with YEE’s core values and mission
- ⚬ Specific knowledge/educational experience on eco-anxiety
⚬ Professional working experience on the topic of eco-anxiety
⚬ Personal experience with climate activi
⚬ Experience with the European Youth Centers of CoE
- ⚬ The training will be held in Prague, Czechia, for 5 full days, with an additional two days for arrival and departure.
- ⚬ The training sessions will last from 9:30 to 18:30 with lunch and coffee breaks in between.
- ⚬ There will be a total of 2 trainers, also supported by 4 members of the YEE staff.
- ⚬ The trainers will have the cost of travel, accommodation and food covered.
- ⚬ The service compensation is 200 Euros per day gross, with 5 estimated days of work in total. Invoice will be required to be issued for the payment.
