Youth and Environment Europe is looking for members of working groups of the Franco-Russian Dialogue on Climate Change.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Young people between 18 and 30 years old, interested in the issues of environment, climate change and related policies, who are living in Russia or France.

Your nationality doesn’t matter, but due to the nature of the project we are looking for participants based in these two countries.

We are calling for new members to join these working groups:

  • 🔸 Sustainable energy
  • 🔸 Biodiversity
  • 🔸 the Arctic
  • 🔸 Green cities

WHY TO BECOME A MEMBER OF A WORKING GROUP?

In the past three months, participants of the Franco-Russian Dialogue have been developing five policy proposals per topic, which they are going to present to decision-makers in France and Russia. You will join them in finalising the policy proposals and developing your own proposals on the environmental issues that matter to you. You are going to become the ambassador of the Franco-Russian Dialogue in meetings with stakeholders and policy makers, presenting the outcomes of the project (the policy proposals) and representing the views of young people in France and Russia concerning the climate and biodiversity crisis.

WHAT IS THE FRANCO-RUSSIAN YOUTH DIALOGUE ON CLIMATE CHANGE?

Franco-Russian Youth Dialogue on Climate Change is a 6-month project that unites young people from France and Russia in addressing the climate crisis to their governments through policy proposals and dialogues with decision makers. The project is supported by the French Embassy in Russia under the Trianon Dialogue program. The main working language of the Franco-Russian Dialogue is English.
