Youth SDG Summit | 11 – 12 February 2021

Another can´t-miss event is here! Don´t miss the Youth SDG Summit on 11 and 12 February 2021 – YEE will be there. The Youth SDG Summit is the world’s premiere Summit hosted 100% by young people, powered by UNITE 2030, delivering agenda that makes a true impact to echo the challenges that youth are facing.

UNITE 2030 is a global platform that empowers the next generation of global citizens to change the world by 2030. They are some of the world’s experts on young people who are passionate about taking action to do good. Now, they are hosting the second edition of the Youth SDG Summit which will take place from 11 to 12 February 2020 online, directly from your home. The Summit will bring you some of the boldest, brightest, and most innovative content that we’ve seen so far.

The Youth SDG Summit is an unique opportunity to gather the world’s top young leaders to discuss how we can further our actions to maximize our impact and transform the world. YEE is the largest independent European network of environmental youth organizations, representing the voice of 52 member organisations from 30 countries, who agree that by uniting the next generation of young leaders, we can expand our ability to lead the sustainable change toward the Global Goals.

The first day of the Summit, Thursday 11 February, is For People. You will have an opportunity to join round-tables, workshops and discussions dedicated to captivating topics such as youth tokenism in international decision-making, gender equality or youth homelessness. Following with environmental topics, the second day of the Summit, is For Planet. On Friday 12 February, you can attend sessions on climate activism, sustainable cities and global health.

Do you want to know what motivates young people to take climate action? Join us for the panel session “Climate Activism 101: How to get young people to care” on Friday 12 February from 18:00 (CET) to 19:00 (CET). Together with Federico Calderón, Bec Sanderson and Adenike Oladosu, YEE Project & Communications Manager Karolina will discuss how to communicate the climate action with young people.
