Overview
Restoring the Flow: Youth Action for the Kifissos River is an initiative that connects environmental degradation to governance failures, equipping young people with the knowledge and tools to expose corruption and advocate for a cleaner, healthier Kifissos River and its restoration.
The Kifissos River has suffered from severe ecological degradation due to pollution, illegal dumping, and weak enforcement of environmental laws. This project aims to empower young people and marginalised communities to take action.
By fostering transparency and youth-led civic participation, the project seeks to promote sustainable environmental governance in Athens.
