Overview

“Empowering the Unheard,” our latest project inspired by the success of our previous endeavour, “Showcasing the Unheard.” The positive feedback and numerous requests have motivated us to embark on this new initiative. Empowering the Unheard is an evolution of our efforts to create a more inclusive environment and foster climate activism networks.

Our previous project laid the foundation, equipping us with the right tools, connections, and language. Empowering the Unheard takes this groundwork and aims to put it into practice. This project’s primary goal is to provide opportunities for NGOs, youth movements, and young program participants to explore the possibilities, realities, and opportunities of climate activism in Europe.

Objectives

Our project’s core mission is to support young individuals with fewer opportunities in their entry into the climate movement. We actively engage marginalised Europeans aged 12 to 30 by involving them in community projects and local decision-making processes.

We aim to strengthen the capacity of YEE’s Member Organizations in working with young people from marginalised communities, actively involving them in projects and local decision-making processes.

Providing small grants to YEE Member Organizations to enhance their capacity for working with marginalised youth.

Supporting youth delegates from marginalized communities in participating in European and global decision-making events.

nviting youth from our sub-granting projects to participate in a Europe-wide workshop, offering opportunities to network, learn, and explore the world of climate activism.
